BYB Yoga Conditioning - Extremities and Hand Weights

BYB Yoga Conditioning teaches you how to create a powerful body without going to the gym. The key to flexibility is strength and yoga works better when we are stronger but many are confused by the contradictions they find in standard strengthening regimes.

Extremities and Hand Weights will show various techniques of conditioning the arms and legs. It will show the proper use of hand weights and how to incorporate them into comfortable routines.

The philosophies of proper body conditioning and the safe practice of exercise are emphasized during this course. This course emphasizes the details necessary for students to safely and effectively enhance their strength and conditioning body wide.

This seminar focuses on safe and effective techniques that do not conflict with flexibility. Learn enjoyable routines can be done easily at home with very little equipment. Come join the fun and get stronger than you have ever been before.

Ancient Yoga Literature

What better way to explore the history of yoga than through the ancient writings that shaped its very foundations.

Through these writings we will witness the evolution of yoga from its earliest references through the post classical and modern eras.

  • Attend just the lecture portion of the class (12:30pm - 2pm).
  • Attend the 11:30 Gentle Yoga class and then the following lecture until 2pm.
